Richard Childress Racing (RCR) is owned and operated by NASCAR veteran Richard Childress. Originally a NASCAR Cup Series driver from the late 1960’s until 1981, Richard Childress was also active in the owner’s role. RCR is one of the oldest NASCAR teams around. Throughout the years, they have proven to be one of the most successful teams because of their knowledge and experience which has resulted in Championships at all 3 levels of NASCAR racing,
The RCR facility in Welcome, North Carolina has one of the most impressive museums in NASCAR. The museum houses 47 race cars to view, including some were driven by NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt.
