The premiere team in NASCAR right now is Hendrick Motorsports (HMS).  Owned by Rick Hendrick, HMS consistently has the best cars and drivers in the sport of NASCAR.  Hendrick engines are known as some of the best in racing and are even leased to other teams in NASCAR such as Stewart-Haas.  Over 80 employees work in the Hendrick engine department to develop and build the Chevrolet engines.

Another big reason for the success of HMS has been because of the people that Rick Hendrick has placed on his teams.  The pit crews for the HMS teams are among the best in motorsports.  The combination of talented crews with some of the best drivers around and it’s no wonder why this organization is very familiar with the winners circle.

Hendrick Motorsports headquarters are located in Concord, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte.  The HMS headquarters also contains the Hendrick Motorsports Museum.  A visit to this museum is a must for any NASCAR fan.  Visitors get see how the cars and engines are built in the 15,000 square foot museum.
